2005 Selene Sauvignon Blanc

Hello from Selene!

There are so many signs of spring in the air here in Napa. For me, one of the surest signs is the release of our Selene Sauvignon Blanc, Hyde Vineyards. Our 2005 vintage is drinking beautifully right now, and it’s floral, blossomy notes seem perfect for spring.

Here are my tasting notes for the 2005 Vintage:

2005 Selene Sauvignon Blanc, Hyde Vineyards – Aromas begin with white peach, pineapple, melon, and tangerine. This 2005 wine also has a very floral, blossomy character about it with pear blossom and honeysuckle tones in particular. The flavor concentration has wonderful intensity and impact in the mouth, with that just right balance between rich viscosity and good acidity. 2236 cases

Selene is participating in two upcoming events. On April 22nd I will be at COPIA for the Artisan Tasting from 1pm to 4pm. On May 15th I will be at California Wine Merchants in San Francisco for a Selene Winery tasting from 6pm to 9pm. Both of these events are a great chance to taste Selene Wines.
