Two New February Releases

Hello from Selene!

We are releasing our 2003 vintage of Selene Cabernet Sauvignon and Chesler Red Wine.

Thank you for all the great feedback we received on the 2002 vintage of both wines. I believe you will be equally as happy with the 2003’s.

Here are my tasting notes for the 2003 Vintage:

2003 Selene Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – Blackberry cobbler, cherry, and raspberry; molasses, caramelized brown sugar, hint of sweet spice and vanilla; dark chocolate and coffee. Mouth-coating, viscous, and velvety; intense flavors true to those found in the aroma; very good length. 465 cases.

2003 “Chesler” Napa Valley Red Wine – Violets, raspberries, blackberries, and plum; dark chocolate, sandalwood, caramel, toasted vanilla, very slight mint. A big mouthful with some impact; intense, long flavors with a chewy density to the extract. 612 cases.

In other news at Selene, the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc is ready for bottling, and will be released the first of April 2006.

We have applied for a direct shipper’s permit for New York, and expect to receive approval very soon.

Check the web site for additional information on both wines, and other upcoming events.  We can accept your orders via the Internet, fax or mail.
