Today we are out sampling Bressler Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. We were joined by our buddy, and experienced Sauvignon Blanc leafer, Chris Hendrix.
As you can see the Bressler Cabernet fruit looks yummy. While I was walking down my row sampling I came across this birds nest.
It was probably used earlier in the year. It reminded me of one of the days we were sampling out at Frediani this year, and I stuck my hand in a pretty bushy Merlot vine and a bird flew out at me. That was better at waking me up than the caffeine I had in the double mocha that morning.
After Mia and Bob Bressler tested the samples, they called the pick for Monday the 29th. Mia set it up with the winery and with David Abreu’s crew.
Then it was off to Taylor’s Refresher for lunch. I love the Ahi burger, the ginger wasabi mayo makes this awesome, I’ve never had a better one. Mia is hooked on the Texas Burger, but she’s usually hiccuping half way through because of all the jalepeno’s. Chris had the Fish Taco’s. We shared a half bottle of 2005 Karl Lawrence Cab. This place not only has great food, but great wines by the glass and half bottle. – Skippy
